''SOUNDSCAPES'' LP 2023

Scarified Records released on March 3rd the epic progressive rock/metal journey named "Soundscapes" by spanish drummer and composer Abel Sequera (from Death Keepers, Xtasy, Elisa C. Martin).

Produced and written together with guitarist Carles Salse (Xtasy, Sinergia); the album counts with 50 musicians abroad which include Derek Sherinian (ex-Dream Theater), Mike Lepond (Symphony X), Diego Tejeida (ex-Haken), Jeff Kollman (Alan Parsons), Mats Haugen (Circus Maximus), Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai), Randy George (Neal Morse), Simone Mularoni (DGM), Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery) or Andreas Blomqvist (Seventh Wonder) to name just a few.

The album has been mixed and mastered by Sebastian Sendon (Bleed from Within, Lampr3a, The Broken Horizon...).

The extense artwork has been designed by graphic artist Fernando Navajo from Visual Decay (Iris Divine, Synarchy, Denial Machine...).

El álbum, que relata una épica aventura a lo largo de 8 temas, 7 de ellos instrumentales y uno último vocal; ha sido producido junto a Carles Salse (XTASY, KILMARA, Elisa C. Martin…) y grabado en Sureau Studio (Barcelona).

Por su parte, ha sido mezclado y masterizado por Sebastian Sendon (BLEED FROM WITHIN, LAMPR3A, THE BROKEN HORIZON…).

Cabe destacar que cuenta con la colaboración de más de 50 músicos de alrededor del mundo, entre los que se encuentran entre otros nombres de la talla de Derek Sherinian (SONS OF APOLLO), Mike Lepond (SYMPHONY X), Diego Tejeida (ex-HAKEN), Mats Haugen (CIRCUS MAXIMUS), Philip Bynoe (Steve Vai), Andreas Blomqvist (SEVENTH WONDER), Tony Hernando (LORDS OF BLACK) o Magnus Henriksson (ECLIPSE) por nombrar solo unos pocos.

''REFLECTIONS FROM A QUARTER CENTURY'' EP 2016

ENGLISH
¨Reflections from a quarter century" is the first instrumental progressive rock EP that releases under his name.

In it, reviews his first 25 years of life through a musical and personal journey divided in 4 tracks, one per each relevant phase and influenced by the classics from the genre like Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Haken, Pagan's Mind, Camel, Transatlantic, Emerson, Lake and Palmer or Hiromi Uehara among others.

Written just in a week, it wasn't until after a gig, when he met Carles Salse and he was who told him about the possibility of recording it in his studio, Sureau Studio.

For it, he was surrounded by friends who helped him to give shape to this project contributing with their own style and instrument, being 15 musicians in total.

''Reflections from a quarter century" es mi primer Ep de rock progresivo instrumental.
En él , hago un repaso de mis primeros 25 años de vida a través de un viaje musical y personal dividido en 4 temas, uno por cada fase relevante e influenciado por clásicos del género como son Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Haken , Pagan's Mind, Camel, Transatlantic, Emerson,Lake & Palmer o Hiromi Uehara entre otros.
Compuesto en tan solo una semana, no fué hasta después de un concierto dónde conoció a Carles Salse, quien le planteó la posibilidad de materializarlo grabándolo en su estudio, Sureau Studio.
Para ello se han rodeado de amigos que les han ayudado a dar forma aportando cada uno su estilo e instrumento y siendo un total de 15 músicos.
