Born in 1990, Abel Sequera is drummer and songwriter from Barcelona.
At the early age of 6 started studying classical piano and accordion and at 9, drums, instrument that has accompanied him until today.
He studied at Taller de Músics (Barcelona) and currently Advanced Music Degree at Jam Session (Barcelona), recieving AIE's full scolarship.
Has published different albums in different styles, composing, making arrangements, playing drums and singing from progressive metal to flamenco-fusion, among them his solo work "Reflections from a Quarter Century".
Actually he's on tour with the heavy-rock band Death Keepers (featuring Michael Vescera), with hard-rock band Xtasy who brought him to tour around Europe opening for Hardline, Eclipse or Crazy Lixx among others and with singer Elisa C. Martin (ex-Dark Moor).
His last solo album "Soundscapes", which, produced along with Carles Salse, count with the participation of well-known musicians such as Derek Sherinian (Sons of apollo, ex Dream Theater), Randy George (Neil Morse Band), Michael LePond (Symphony X), Diego Tejeida (Haken) or Simone Mularoni (DGM) and was released on March 3rd via Scarified Records.

Nacido en 1990, Abel Sequera es baterista y compositor barcelonés.
A la temprana edad de 6 años empezó a estudiar piano clásico y acordeón y a los 9, bateria, instrumento que le acompaña hasta dia de hoy.
En el Taller de Músics de Barcelona, cursa el Grado Medio de Música Moderna y actualmente, el Grado Superior en la Escuela Superior de Música Jam Session dónde ha sido becado con la beca completa otorgada por la AIE.
Ha publicado diversos álbumes componiendo, haciendo arreglos, tocando la batería e incluso cantando; en estilos que van desde el metal progresivo hasta el flamenco-fusión entre los que cabe destacar su trabajo en solitario "Reflections from a Quarter Century".
Actualmente se encuentra de gira con la cantante Elisa C. Martin (ex-Dark Moor), la banda de heavy-rock Death Keepers, que cuenta con Michael Vescera (Ex Yngwie Malmseen, Ex Loudness) entre sus filas y con la banda de hard-rock Xtasy que le han llevado por toda Europa abriendo para Hardline, Eclipse o Crazy Lixx entre otros.
Su último álbum en solitario "Soundscapes", producido junto con Carles Salse, el cual cuenta con la colaboración de instrumentistas tan reconocidos como Derek Sherinian (Sons of apollo, ex Dream Theater), Randy George (Neil Morse Band), Michael LePond (Symphony X), Diego Tejeida (Haken) , Simone Mularoni (DGM) o Max Ostro entre otros. El lanzamiento del álbum fue el 3 de marzo de 2023 a través del sello discográfico Scarified Records.
